Today we’ll have the trilogy Divergent, Wrote by Veronica Roth and published by Harper Collins.
This saga is also a dystopia, which occur in a Chicago after war, a way those people find to minimize the chances of a new slaughter and live in balance is daring the all nation on in five faction according to each one personality and skills, they are:
Abnegation (selfless) – created to supplement the demand of altruistic leaders on
government;
Candor (the honest) – provide reliable leaders on judiciary
Erudite (the intelligent) - provided people orientate to the academic side as teachers, doctors and researchers;
Amity (the peaceful) - created to provide understanding and zealous counselors
Dauntless (the brave) - is in charge of the protection against both internal and external threats
However there’s a catch In all this, you are only able to exercise one of those personalities otherwise you will be consider a divergent, a threat to the current politic.
At the age of sixteen years old the teenagers will have to choose which faction he or she is going to be part of, there is a simulation test that help them on this choice, but what a lot of them don’t know is that on this test you can find out a divergent hide on the population, and when it gets more clear for the government they eliminate this person without the nation knowledge.
It is in this world that Beatrice Prior lives and will discover she is a divergent, one of the most powerful of her epoch. In this universe, she is going to live a great love, which she will be willing to sacrifice herself in order for him to live in safety.
Is it worth????????
I totally recommend this trilogy, the write is fantastic, however there are some excerpts that because of the action could make you fell boring, but if you are like me and like a good fight and fight preparations with strategies and plot you will read this trilogy in a month, well at least was what happened with me!!
But beforehand I’ll prepare you for Convergent book, I went for tears, I’m going to stop right here before I give spoilers for you.
